Firefighters respond to early morning truck fire

The Colorado Springs Fire Department put out a fire on a couple tractor-trailers early Friday morning.

Crews arrived on the scene in the 2900 block of N. El Paso St. just after midnight. They report that two tractor-trailers were on fire.

Several witnesses report that they heard explosions, but firefighters say those were likely the sounds of tires bursting.

It took firefighters 36 minutes to bring the fire under control. The cause was ruled accidental.

No one was hurt in the fire.
