Stolen bulldog reunited with Pueblo owner the next day
Andy Bobian didn’t expect to be reunited with his stolen bulldog.
“I honestly didn’t think we’d get him back,” he said.
Bobian’s 15-week-old American bulldog, Littles, was stolen from his backyard on the 100 block of Lehigh Ave. Saturday morning.
When KRDO NewsChannel 13 was talking with Bobian about his missing dog on Sunday afternoon, a concerned stranger, who asked to remain anonymous, returned Littles.
It was welcomes news to Bobian, who believes Littles was stolen largely because he’s worth $6,500.
“My assumption is that people can’t afford them and they’re doing what they have to do to get them,” he said.
Bobian said this is the third bulldog that he’s heard of being stolen in Pueblo within the last three weeks. He plans to install a video surveillance camera and a taller fence in his backyard in the hopes of preventing another incident.
“People work for these dogs. They get them because they love them. They get them because they want them. Don’t come and steal them,” Bobian said.
