Elderly woman fights off robber in Colorado Springs
An elderly woman fought off a man who tried to rob her in Colorado Springs Sunday.
It happened just before 1:30 Sunday afternoon in the 2800 block of Tenderfoot Hill Street in the city’s southwest side.
Police said a man grabbed the woman as she got out of her car. She told police he possibly had a gun on him. The victim is fine and nothing was taken.
Police said they are looking for a white man, 40-50 years old with brown hair with a scruffy appearance. He is about 5’6″ or 5’7″ and took off in a white Toyota Camry-type vehicle.
