Man accused of raping woman at Colorado Springs motel
Colorado Springs Police say they have arrested a man for raping a woman at a motel on E. Platte Ave.
The crime happened in the 2100 block of E. Platte. It was reported at around 10 a.m. on Tuesday (12/2/14).
The 21-year-old victim said she had been staying at the motel when she was sexually assaulted by a male acquaintance.
Police said they identified the suspect in the attack as Harley Burns, 26.
Burns was arrested in the 300 block of E. Platte Ave. in the early morning hours of December 5, 2014.
Burns is facing a charge for sexual assault.
