Holiday season begins in southern Colorado

The holiday’s have arrived in southern Colorado, and several celebrations were held to welcome in the holiday spirit.

The Boradmoor lit up their Christmas lights and Christmas tree Saturday night, with help from Santa Claus. The tree was filled with red-tinted lights, which were part of fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. Each bulb honored a cancer survivor.

Hundreds of people came out to see the Pueblo Parade of Lights along Union Ave.

And the Rosemont Museum in Pueblo unveiled its Christmas lights Saturday afternoon. The lighting is a 40 year tradition, and more than 40 people worked on the project.
