Trespassing suspect arrested after brief standoff
Police say a standoff in the 2600 block of Crawford Street ended peacefully Wednesday.
Officers were called to the neighborhood to investigate a possible trespasser at around 8:30 a.m.
Police received information that there may have been several people with guns inside a vacant apartment. They set up a perimeter and then began negotiating with Jason Bradley, 33, who was inside the apartment.
Police say it turns out that Bradley and his four small children were the only people in the apartment. They say drugs and a short shotgun were found inside.
Bradley, who is a convicted felon, was arrested. He faces numerous charges.
