Police: Woman raped by man who offered to give her a ride to the store

Pueblo Police are looking for a man who sexually assaulted and threatened to kill a woman early Sunday (11/23/14) morning.

Officers were dispatched to investigate the attack at around 3:20 a.m. at an address on E. 4th Street.

The victim, a 23-year-old woman, told investigators that her attacker offered her a ride to the store. She accepted, and was sexually assaulted inside his vehicle. She said her attacker threatened to kill her.

The woman described her attacker as a dark-skinned black man in his early to mid 20s. He was clean shaven and wearing green shoes and pants along with a white t-shirt. Police say his name may have been “Tino.”

The vehicle he was driving is described as a baby blue 1980s model Subaru station wagon, or similar vehicle.
