Man sentenced to 192 years in father-son robberies

A man convicted of bank robbery after a series of heists with his sons has been sentenced to at least 192 years in prison.

52-year-old Brock Butson was accused of driving the getaway car after his two sons robbed Colorado Springs-area banks in 2013.

Butson was convicted of nine counts of robbery and one count of attempted robbery. He was sentenced Monday.

One of his sons, 21-year-old Nicholas, accused him in court of getting him addicted to drugs before pulling him and his brother into the robberies.

Both sons pleaded guilty to robbery charges earlier. Nicholas Butson was sentenced to four years in prison and three years of probation. Twenty-four-year-old Braden Butson was sentenced to six years in prison and three years of probation.
