UPDATE: Dozens of tires slashed in Colorado Springs neighorhood

Colorado Springs Police have released surveillance images of the person who they believe slashed dozens of tires Saturday morning.

Investigators are asking you to call 444-7000 if you recognize the person in the images. They point out that the backpack is particularly distinctive.

Police said more than 60 vehicles were damaged in the 2700 block of Maroon Bells Avenue, near the intersection of Vickers Drive and Academy Boulevard.

A witness reported seeing one person moving through the neighborhood slashing tires, but was not able to get a good description of the person.
