CSPD issues arrest warrant for assault suspect

Colorado Springs police have issued a warrant for the arrest of an assault suspect.

Police were called to investigate a disturbance and possible sexual assault Tuesday afternoon. A woman told police an acquaintance assaulted and sexually assaulted her.

Police developed probable cause for Second Degree Assault against 56-year-old Robert Crockford, and have issued a warrant for his arrest.

The investigation is ongoing, and the Adult Sexual Assault/Domestic Violence Unit is helping with the investigation.
