Utilities: Electric service restored to east side customers affected by outage

Thousands of Colorado Springs Utilities customers lost power Tuesday morning.

All of the outages have been repaired and Colorado Springs Utilities says everyone should now have electricity.

Utilities estimated that 8,000 of its customers were affected by the outage. It says equipment failure is to blame.
