UPDATE: Shots fired in I-25 road rage incident
The Colorado State Patrol has identified a man arrested for allegedly firing a shot during a road rage incident on I-25 in El Paso County.
Scott Postlethwait, 45, from Indiana, faces charges of Reckless Endangerment and Felony Menacing for allegedly shooting the front driver’s-side tire of a Tahoe while driving northbound on I-25 near Interquest Parkway Sunday afternoon.
Troopers said the SUV and a truck were involved in the road rage incident. Troopers say Postlethwait was a passenger in the truck, when he pulled out a gun and shot the driver’s side front tire of the SUV.
The silver GMC truck exited the highway and the white Tahoe pulled to the right shoulder of I-25. Troopers then arrested Postlethwait in the parking lot at the Kum and Go convenience store at Interquest Parkway and Market Center Point.
