New poll shows gubernatorial race too close to call

A new Quinnipiac University poll shows incumbent Governor John Hickelooper leading 45% to Republican challenger Bob Beauprez’ 44% among likely voters.

The latest poll shows the race too close to call.

The poll was released Thursday morning.

Libertarian candidate Matthew Hess has 1%; Green Party candidate Harry Hempy has 2%; and 7% are undecided.

With 12 days until Election Day, 91 percent of Colorado likely voters who name a candidate say their mind is made up, while 8 percent say they might change their mind.
