Small dogs have a place to play
Man’s little best friends now have their own place to play.
A small dog area opened at the Bark Park at Pueblo’s City Park.
It took the city three months to build the area.
The small dog park is separated from the spot saved for big dogs.
A small dog owner said now her pet has a place to play without being disturbed by the bigger dogs.
“It was just wide-open space, I mean it was fenced in and all the dogs were together, it was kind of rough on the little ones because sometimes they kind of cower,” small dog owner Patty Pike said.
Dogs 18 inches and under are welcomed into that part of the dog park.
