UPDATE: Woman killed in Pueblo home invasion identified

Pueblo police said a woman was killed Sunday morning in an apparent home invasion.

The Pueblo County Coroner confirmed Monday (10/20) that Kirsten Djuric, 18, was killed. Autopsy and toxicology results are still pending.

Police said the woman had a previous relationship with the homeowner.

It happened around 3:30 Sunday morning in the 100 block of E. Adams Street.

The resident of the home reported that he heard loud pounding sound on his door. When he investigated, he found that someone had broken in.

Police say that shots were fired after that, and the body of a woman was found inside the residence when they arrived.
