Questioning and getting to know candidates in Pueblo County

Asking tough questions and getting to know the candidates who want to represent Pueblo.

A history class at Pueblo West High School organized a forum Thursday afternoon.

Students had the chance to quiz people who running for office about education, jobs and gun control.

Students said the forum helped them understand the issues affecting Pueblo.

“It’s great to get to learn some things about them get to know them, and it’s great to get to know them, and know what we are voting fo,r the ones who are 18 and can vote, it’s just something new that we don’t get to do every day,” CJ Davidson said. He is a student at Pueblo West High School.

Candidates for house district, county commissioner, U.S. Congress, and the state Board of Education were at the event.
