UPDATE: 1 dead after truck plunges into creek
One person is dead after a truck drove off the 4th Street bridge into Fountain Creek on Monday night.
Police say the truck hit a cement embankment on the bridge at a high rate of speed, launching the truck about 150 feet before plunging into the creek.
Police say the 48-year-old driver may have suffered from a medical condition prior to the accident and lost control.
The crash is still under investigation.
Police are not naming the victim until his family has been notified.
