Small earthquake rattles Las Animas County
The United States Geological Survey reports a magnitude 2.8 earthquake shook the mountains west of Trinidad early Wednesday.
The temblor was centered about 22 miles west of Trinidad.
KRDO NewsChannel 13 has not received any reports of people feeling the earthquake. No damage was reported.
