Police search for clues in attempted kidnapping

Colorado Springs Police say two men tried to kidnap a 15-year-old girl who was walking home from work Saturday morning (10/4/14).

The incident happened at the intersection of E. Pikes Peak Ave. and Murray Blvd. and was reported to police at 12:18 a.m.

The girl told investigators that she was walking home when a car pulled up with two men inside. She said the men tried to kidnap her by grabbing her and pulling her hair.

The teen said one of the men was wearing a white hooded sweatshirt, blue under armor head covering, blue shorts, white socks and white shoes. She said he may have had a tattoo on his right wrist and a scar under his right eye.

The second man is described as wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black bandana, black jeans and black Nike shoes.

The men were driving a dark green or black two door sedan.

Anyone with information is asked to call Colorado Springs Police at 719-444-7000.
