Rumbling for a good cause

Hundreds of bikers rumbled through the Steel City Saturday for a good cause during 5th annual Shield of Faith Bike Run in Pueblo.

The money raised from the event goes toward the Pueblo Area Law Enforcement Chaplains.

An organizer said when the group needs funding the bikers are always there to help.

“We have a lot of riders in the department, a lot of riders in our community and riders are generous so we formed the run. It’s done great for us ever since,” Pueblo police Capt. Tom Rummel said.

Money for the organization is used for bus tickets, lodging and meals for people who are in need.
