Man arrested for pestering Longmont city manager

A man who visited the Longmont city manager’s office five times in three days to complain about his towed car is facing possible charges.

Sixty-year-old Stanley Tolle was arrested Wednesday but released after paying $50 bond. Police say he was told to pursue his complaint with the state and in court and had been warned not to return to Harold Dominguez’s office after his third visit. He’s accused of causing a disturbance on one of his visits.

The Longmont Times-Call reports that Tolle’s 1992 Subaru was towed and impounded because it was left parked on a city street with expired tags.

The car mechanic told the newspaper that he had a right to be in the public building on official business and he intends to fight the city in court.
