Lane closures planned for I-25

The I-25 cone zone in Monument will lead to more lane closures.

The Colorado Department of Transportation said two southbound right lanes will be closed between Highway 105 and Baptist Road from 8:30 p.m. Friday until 8 a.m. Saturday.

Workers will be wrapping up paving operations on the southbound lanes. The paving work will then shift to the northbound lanes. Paving should be wrapped up in both directions by mid-to-late October.

Striping will force extensive overnight lane closures on southbound I-25 through the stretch next week.
