Driver arrested on suspicion of DUI, vehicular assault

Colorado Springs police arrested a man around 7:30 p.m. Sunday after he allegedly crashed in the parking lot of the On The Boulevard Restaurant in the 2800 block of N. Murray Blvd.

Officers say Joshua Lee Roybal lost control of his car, crashing into one of the pillars at On The Boulevard. Police also say Roybal’s car crashed into two pedestrians who were standing near another parked car.

One of the pedestrians was hurt, but the injury was not life threatening.

Roybal was later arrested for vehicular assault and driving under the influence.
