What: The event supports our local Colorado Springs heroes — fire, police, military and EMS. The celebration is especially meaningful for the residents of Mountain Shadows who know first-hand the efforts of the heroes who worked so hard to try to save their homes during the Waldo Canyon Fire.
The free Festival features a Flight for Life helicopter landing, K-9 dog demonstration, fire and police safety demos, army and fire trucks, patrol cars, activities, and a free kids’ zone. Entertainment will include The Colorado Springs Children’s Chorale, the Colorado Springs Youth Ballet, The Colorado Springs Conservatory, a patriotic noon ceremony, and much more.
