Springs police seek kidnapping suspects

The Colorado Springs Police Department has released information about two men who it says were involved in the kidnapping of a woman.

The kidnapping was reported on Wednesday, September 3, 2014.

Officers were dispatched to the Howard Johnson Lodge at 8230 Highway 83 to investigate after an injured woman was found in the parking lot.

Investigators say they believe the woman was kidnapped by two men. Police have identified the suspects as Anthony Ricardo Johnson, 23, and Dustin Paul Nelson, 29.

Police said Nelson has multiple tattoos, including the names “Machelle” on his right forearm and “Hanna” on his left forearm.

Police are looking for a blue 2007 Toyota Tacoma quad cab in connection to this case. They say the truck may have out of state plates, possibly from Minnesota or Washington State.
