Warming up and drying out this weekend

TODAY: It's going to be a hot one today as temps top out in the upper 80s and low 90s along I-25, with mid-to-upper 90s expected over the eastern plains. We'll see a shot at a brief shower this afternoon, but with dry air in place near the ground, we may see more wind than actual rain shower activity. Fire danger will be elevated today.

SUNDAY: More of the same expected on Sunday as temps are very similar to today. We'll stay dry with a bit of a breeze by the afternoon.

REST OF THE WEEK: No big changes for the week ahead either, with 80s and 90s hanging around. Our best chance for moisture looks to arrive by late next week, into next week. We also look to cool down at that time as well.
