Fire in central Springs neighborhood under control

A home caught fire in the 900 block of Bennett Lane Wednesday afternoon.

The fire, which is now under control, started in a neighborhood west of the intersection of Circle and Galley.

The police department said that smoke was visible in the central part of the city at the height of the fire.

No injuries have been reported. The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage are unknown.
