AFA reports cases of unprofessional behavior and underage drinking by some members of the men’s gymnastics team

The United States Air Force Academy says it has taken action against some members of the men’s gymnastics team for actions that are not in line with the Academy’s institutional values.

The Academy says that incidents over the past year have revealed a pattern of unprofessional behavior and underage drinking among some team members.

The incidents did not involve sexual assaults or illicit drug use.

The Academy says it has taken “appropriate action” against the offending individuals; however it did not offer specifics.

The Air Force Academy says it is also looking into allegations of inappropriate behavior by a basketball staff member.
