One in custody after late night stabbing
Colorado Springs police report that one person is in custody following a stabbing that took place late last night.
Officers were called out to the 1700 block of Mount Washington Avenue, near the intersection of North Nevada Avenue and Cheyenne Boulevard. Police say the victim had been stabbed in the back by the suspect, and was later taken to the hospital for treatment.
The suspect has not yet been identified, but was booked for assault at the El Paso County Criminal Justice Center.
