Broncos Final Cuts
The Denver Broncos have released nine-year veteran defensive tackle Kevin Vickerson and third-year safety Duke Ihenacho, a starter last season who had nine tackles in the Super Bowl.
They also let go of third quarterback Zac Dysert, who made the 53-man roster last year.
The Broncos added plenty of depth following their Super Bowl loss to Seattle, and Vickerson and Inhenacho paid the price.
Slow to recover from a dislocated hip that sidelined him down the stretch in 2013, Vickerson was unable to fend off free agent Marvin Austin.
Ihenacho was the odd man out in a crowded secondary that features free agent acquisition T.J. Ward at strong safet
Teams must trim rosters to 53 active players by 4 p.m. ET.
