Portion of Gold Camp Road temporarily closes for washout repairs

The City of Colorado Springs says heavy rainfall on Tuesday (8/26/14) damaged a portion of Gold Camp Road.

The road is closed between Helen Hunt Falls and North Cheyenne Canyon Park to repair the washouts.

Helen Hunt Falls is open and accessible via North Cheyenne Canyon Road.

Gold Camp Road is scheduled to fully reopen on Saturday (8/30/14), weather permitting.
