Cause of devastating Pueblo fire ruled undetermined

Pueblo Firefighters say we may never know the cause of a June fire that destroyed two downtown businesses.

The fire was reported at around 6:30 p.m. on June 3, 2014. It began in the attic of a building at 3rd and Court and quickly spread.

Johnson’s Sport and Ski and Office Systems, Inc. were destroyed.

On August 19, 2014, the fire department said that both its investigation, and investigations conducted by insurance companies found that the cause of the fire is undetermined.

It’s estimated that the fire caused around $200,000 worth of damages.
