Teen hiker rescued from crevice in Colorado

A hiker who fell into a crevice near a popular trail near Fort Collins, Colorado, has been rescued.

Crews pulled the 16-year-old girl out of the crevice at Horsetooth Rock on Monday and took her to a waiting helicopter.

The Coloradoan reports the teen fell about 50 feet while hiking before falling another 15 feet into the crack.

She broke her ankle and suffered minor head injuries in the fall.
