Man loses home in early morning fire in Colorado Springs
An early morning fire destroyed a trailer in Colorado Springs on Sunday.
The fire was reported just after 4 a.m. at the Northwoods Village RV Park on Wood Ave.
Firefighters say a man and his pet were inside the home, but escaped safely.
It took about 20 minutes for firefighters to put out the fire.
The Red Cross says it helped the man with food, clothing and resource guidance.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
