Woman sexually assaulted at gunpoint in Colorado Springs park

Colorado Springs Police are looking for helping finding a suspect who officers said sexually assaulted a woman in a park at gunpoint.

It happened at Village Green Park off of North Carefree Circle around 10:30 Friday night.

Police said the victim told officers that she was walking in the parking lot of the Greentree Village Apartments near the park. A man with gun confronted her and made her go to the park, where she was assaulted.

Police said the suspect is a black man, about 20 to 25 years old between 5’9″ and 6′ tall, last seen wearing a dark colored t-shirt with a grey in color long sleeve undershirt and black pants.
