Portion of 1st Street getting new name
The 1st street exit off of I-25 will be no more as of tomorrow morning.
Tonight, The Colorado Department of Transportation will be replacing the 1st Street signs on I-25 with new signs bearing the name City Center Drive.
The Pueblo City Council approved changing the name of a portion of 1st Street to City Center Drive earlier this summer.
The city traffic maintenance department will change all 1st Street signs between Dayton and Greenwood to City Center Drive beginning Wednesday morning.
