Arrest made after domestic disturbance call
Colorado Springs police have made an arrest following a morning domestic disturbance incident on Monday.
Officers responded to a call in the 1100 block of East Rio Grand Street. The Domestic Violence Unit assisted with the investigation.
The investigation determined that the victim had been strangled and dragged by her hair. Investigators determined that there was enough evidence to make an arrest.
Colorado Springs resident Edison Becillia was arrested following the investigation. He was booked on charges of Second Degree Assault and Kidnapping.
