Runners race for Wounded Warriors
Three hundred runners raised $30,000 for Wounded Warriors in Colorado Springs Saturday.
Runner braved the hot sun for Saturday morning’s 8k run at America the Beautiful park in Colorado Springs.
Many of them have family overseas, or loved ones who have returned from service.
As many in southern Colorado are well aware, thousands of wounded service members face a wide range of challenges as they transition to civilian life.
It is the organizations mission is to both honor and empower all wounded warriors.
