Man severely injured in assault, police searching for van
The Fountain Police Department is searching for a van that belongs to a man who was assaulted Wednesday morning.
The van is a white 2004 Ford with Colorado license plate number 115-FQR. The van may have “Budget Mechanical Systems and Restaurant” in red lettering on the sides.
The assault victim, whose name has not been released, was found at the Riverside Mobile Home Park in the 700 block of Crest Drive.
Police say they don’t know if the victim’s van was stolen or if he parked it somewhere else.
