Springs man arrested on suspicion of attempted second-degree murder

Colorado Springs police have arrested one man in connection to a possible child abuse incident.

Investigators were notified of the incident on Monday. During the investigation, detectives from the Crimes Against Children Unit became involved.

Probably cause was established for the suspect in the case, Lee Kizer, 30, who was arrested.

Investigators say Kizer was physically abusive to two young men, whom he knew. Kizer is being held on criminal attempted second degree murder, crimes against at risk juveniles and child abuse.
