Woman robbed while taking trash to the curb

Colorado Springs Police say a woman was robbed while doing a simple household chore.

The crime happened in the 6800 block of Bartlet Court, near Powers and Stetson Hills. Police received the call at 6:50 a.m. on July 31, 2014.

The victim told police she was taking the trash to the curb when three men got out of a red truck and forced her into the house at gun point. She says the men stolen items from the home and then left.

The truck was last seen driving westbound on Ansel Drive.

The woman was not injured.
