Food trucks gather in Pueblo every Thursday

Food trucks roll up to the El Pueblo History Museum, ready to feed a hungry crowd of lunch goers.

The Pueblo City Center Partnership began the event this summer, with the hopes of getting people out of their offices during their lunch break. “Once they’re done we hope people will go and walk around downtown and spend time in the local businesses,” said Brittany Gutierrez, a staff member.

On Thursday, the food truck lineups included Sweet Peas Truck Boutique, Chester’s Smokin’ BBQ, Pass Key On The Go and YumTumlicious.

Debby Marez of Pueblo came with her son to grab a bite. “I would rather support local business than anything. We make our money here. I like to spend it here.”

The trucks will be parked at the El Pueblo History Museum parking lot every Thursday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. through August 28 for the City Center Eats event.
