Witnesses: Man fired multiple rounds at SUV with rifle

Colorado Springs Police investigated a report of shots fired at a southeast side apartment complex Wednesday (7/30/14).

The incident happened at the Shannon Glenn Apartments in the 200 block of N. Murray Blvd.

Witnesses told police they saw a man with a rifle shooting rounds toward a dark sedan as it drove out of the parking lot.

Police say the shooter then got into a dark SUV that left southbound on Murray.

The suspect is described as being in his early to mid 20s with an athletic build and short braided hair. He was wearing a black t-shirt and black shorts.

No injuries were reported.
