Rocky Mountain State Games road closures

The Olympic Downtown Celebration and Opening Ceremonies will kick off the Rocky Mountain State Games weekend on Friday, July 25, in Colorado Springs.

The celebration will be held from 5 p.m. – 10 p.m.

Road closures for the event will be in effect throughout the day.

Road Closures (Per Downtown Partnership of Colorado Springs)

10 a.m. – Midnight
-Tejon St. from Kiowa St. to Pikes Peak Ave.

Noon – Midnight
-Tejon St. from Pikes Peak Ave. to Colorado Ave.
-Pikes Peak Ave. from Nevada Ave. to Cascade Ave.

5 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
-Tejon St. (closed to all traffic between Colorado Ave. and E.Vermijo Ave.)
-Vermijo Ave. (closed to westbound traffic from Tejon Ave. to Sierra Madre St.)
-Sierra Madre St. (closed to all traffic from Vermijo Ave. to Pikes Peak Ave.)
-Colorado Ave. (closed to all traffic from Sahwatch St. to Tejon Ave.)
