Motorcyclist seriously injured in downtown Springs accident
A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash in downtown Colorado Springs Thursday night (7/24/14).
The accident happened at the intersection of S. Nevada Ave. and E. Cimarron Street. It was reported at 9:16 p.m.
Investigators say the motorcyclist tried to make a left turn from Nevada onto Cimarron and crashed into the front driver’s side corner of a sedan.
Police say the motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet and did not have the right of way.
The intersection was closed while police investigated the crash.
