Man wakes up to find strange woman cooking breakfast in his kitchen

A Colorado Springs man woke up to find a strange woman cooking breakfast in his kitchen Wednesday morning.

The incident happened at the Fountain Hill Apartments in the 2300 block of E. Fountain Blvd.

Police say the woman got into the apartment through an unlocked door. She left before police arrived.

While officers were responding to the call, they received a report of a woman trying to break into a house in the 900 block of Hutchinson Dr.

The owner of the home detained the woman until police arrived.

Josefina Gonsalez-Nieves, 27, was arrested.

Police believe Gonsalez-Nieves is also responsible for the breakfast break in.

Officers say Gonsalez-Nieves initially lied about her name and that it turns out she was wanted on three felony warrants.
