Caon City man’s body pulled from Arkansas River west of Florence

The Fremont County Sheriff’s Office has released the name of a man whose body was pulled from the Arkansas River west of Florence Thursday.

Michael Preston McClure, 53, was from Caon City.

McClure’s death is under investigation. The sheriff’s office says it doesn’t know when or where McClure entered the river, or whether his death was an accident.
