Flood damage disrupts mail delivery in eastern El Paso County

The United States Postal Service says it wasn’t able to deliver mail to 75 addresses in El Paso County because of flood damaged roads.

Mail was not delivered to ten addresses on High Prairie Point Road and 65 addresses in the Grandview Mobile Park on Handle Road.

Mail for the affected addresses will be held at the Calhan Post Office, which is located at 655 Cascade Street.

The post office is open from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturdays.

The post office says future delivery decisions will be made after consulting with local emergency managers.
