Man stabbed to death in Grand Junction

Authorities are investigating after a man was stabbed to death in the Orchard Mesa area of Grand Junction.

Police say the man, whose name and age have not been released, was assaulted at about 4 a.m. Sunday and ran through a neighborhood knocking on doors for help as the suspect followed him. The Daily Sentinel reports the victim died in the front yard of a home.

Police have arrested a suspect, but his name has not been released.
