CSPD investigates armed robbery at convenience store
Colorado Springs police are investigating an overnight armed robbery at a convenience store.
The robbery happened Sunday around 12:30 a.m. at the Kum & Go on N. Chestnut St.
The clerk told police a man entered the store, showed a gun and demanded money. As the suspect was leaving, the clerk said he thought he heard a gunshot, but police were not able to find any evidence that a shot was actually fired. The suspect got away with an undetermined amount of cash.
No one was hurt during the robbery.
